Short Term Accommodation

What is Short Term Accommodation and Assistance?

Our short term accommodation and assistance is a home away from home for people with a disability.

Under the NDIS, Short Term Accommodation (STA) replaces what used to be called ‘respite’ for people with a disability.

NDIS Support Categories

Short term accommodation and assistance is funded under the Core Supports under Assistance with Daily Life in your NDIS plan.

To make an enquiry about the service at Glen Innes please contact us on 02 9698 7194.  Alternatively, we can provide extra information and explain what to ask for in your plan and help you get started.

Short Term Accommodation Q&A

Our Short Term Accommodation service can give you the chance to meet your independence goals, such as meeting new people and trying new activities. Your interests, your likes and your motivations can be tailored to be included in going out for meals to local cafes, clubs and pubs. If you would like to, Glen Innes and places just a close drive away have beautiful parks and woodland to walk or ride through. Glen Innes hosts many festivals and the Glen Innes Show is an event you don’t want to miss.

No matter your age or tastes, there’s something for you – so chat to us about the different options.
