SHORT BREAKS ACCOMMODATION
Short Breaks Accommodation provides an opportunity for children and adults with disabilities, chronic or terminal illnesses to be cared for outside the home. This may be a particularly attractive option for adolescents who are preparing to leave the family home for a more independent living arrangement because it gives them an opportunity to experience new surroundings and different expectations. Families are free to enjoy time in their own home without the constraints of constant care and can devote more attention to siblings.
Caregivers always ask: “Who can I trust to care for my loved on while I need a break?
Try these actions to answer this question:
Make a list of character, traits, requirements and preferences for the short breaks staff
